Four civilians were killed and six were injured in the Donetsk People’s Republic over the past day as a result of shelling by Ukrainian troops. This was reported on Friday, June 10, on the website of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the DPR.
As a result of strikes in Donetsk, a woman was killed, four more people were injured. An elderly woman was injured in Gorlovka. A man died in Yasinovataya. In the village of Novobakhmutovka, two people died, one woman was injured.
Earlier, on June 9, the headquarters reported the death of a man in an urban-type settlement in Verkhnetoretsky in the Donetsk People’s Republic as a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
Also on Thursday, it was reported that Ukrainian troops at 16:00 fired 10 shells with a caliber of 122 mm at the Kievsky district of Donetsk.
On February 24, Russia launched a special operation to protect Donbass. Moscow explained that the tasks of the special operation include the demilitarization and denazification of Ukraine, the implementation of which is necessary to ensure the security of Russia. The decision was made against the backdrop of aggravation in the region as a result of shelling by the Ukrainian military.
