The Fujairah Swimming Club team won the junior shield in the Emirates Swimming Cup Championship, which was held at Al Bataeh Club with the participation of eight clubs and the presence of 179 male and female swimmers. This tournament was organized by the Swimming Federation on two occasions, as the public and bud championships were held in Abu Dhabi last month, while the junior stages were held in Al-Bataeh Club.
Fujairah Club succeeded in winning first place and the 12-year-old stage cup, while Al-Wasl Club came second, and Abu Dhabi Water Sports Club came in third place. In the 14-year-old stage, Fujairah Club also won first place, Al-Wasl Club came in second place, and Abu Dhabi Club came in third place.
As for the 16-year-old stage, it witnessed Al Wasl Club winning first place, Fujairah Club second and Abu Dhabi Club third. The championship also witnessed Fujairah Club swimmer Hamad Al Ali winning the best swimmer cup in the 13-14 year stage, and Suhail Yaqoub Al Hinai from Fujairah Club also won. Also won the Best Swimmer Cup for 15-16 years old.
The coronation of the winners and the honoring of the clubs, swimmers and individual awards were witnessed by members of the Swimming Federation’s Business Committee, Muhammad Bou Shehab, and Youssef Al-Raisi.
