Guwahati: The 2-day summit of G20 started yesterday in Guwahati, Assam.
India assumed the presidency of the G20 organization on December 1. According to this, G20 related conferences will be held across the country for one year. The G20 Summit will be held in September.
In this context, Union Minister Sarvananda Sonowal inaugurated the 2-day conference of G20 organization in Guwahati, Assam yesterday. 100 people including 95 foreign representatives from the G20 organization participated in this.
Speaking at the conference, Minister Sarvananda Sonowal said:
The countries of the world are still facing various effects due to the corona pandemic. At this time, India has assumed the leadership of the G20 organization. UN The G20 will continue to strive to achieve the goals of the Council, including poverty alleviation and climate change prevention.
The G20 will take constructive steps to reverse the lingering slowdown in the international economy and return it to the path of growth. A new dawn will be born under the leadership of India. All countries should support this.
