PM Narendra Modi has expressed confidence before the G20 Summit that this summit will pave a new way for Human Centric Inclusive Development. Modi gave information about his activities related to G20 on X today. He informed that India is delighted to host the 18th G20 Summit on 9-10 September at the iconic Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.
This is the first G20 summit to be held in India. He looks forward to productive discussions with world leaders over the next two days.
G20 Presidency theme in line with our culture
Modi said India’s G20 Presidency theme is deeply ingrained in our cultural ethos, ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbkam – One Earth, One Family, One Future’ and deeply resonates with our world view that the entire world is one family. Rashtrapatiji will give dinner on 9th September. On the 10th the leaders will pay homage to Gandhiji at Rajghat. At the closing ceremony, on the same day, G20 leaders will share their collective vision for a sustainable and equitable ‘One Future’, working together as ‘One Family’ for a healthy ‘One Earth’.
Modi will preside over the session
He informed that during the G20 summit, he will chair the session on ‘One Earth’, ‘One Family’ and ‘One Future’. It will cover a number of issues of major concern to the world community. These include pursuing strong, sustainable, inclusive and balanced development.
