The HD remaster of the Mega Drive classic Gargoyles will be out next month.
Disney announced, to the delight of fans, that the remake of the 1995 game, based on a popular animated television series, would have an HD remaster, but had not announced a date.
Now we know that the game will be available next October 19, with versions for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. It will be sold digitally, reservations are now open, and the price is $14.99.
The new version will allow you to play with the appearance of the original Sega console game, or with new hand-drawn graphics that try to replicate the style of the series.
In addition, it has also been announced that Limited Run will publish three editions in physical format. The standard will be priced at $34.99, the Classic at $69.99, and the Collector’s at $174.99.
The Classic edition comes in a special VHS-type box and includes a steelbook, while the Collector’s adds to the Classic’s contents a larger box featuring the voices of actor Keith David, a certificate of authenticity, a pin, and a Goliath figurine.
