Washington. Elon Musk has sharply criticized US President Joe Biden’s decision to honor billionaire financier George Soros with the ‘Presidential Medal of Freedom’. Musk, one of the richest people in the world, has called it shameful to give America’s highest civilian honor to Soros.
US President Biden on Saturday honored 19 people, including George Soros and former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, with the country’s highest civilian honor. Joe Biden’s opponent and supporter of Republican leader Donald Trump, Elon Musk, in a podcast called it shameful to give this honor to Soros and said that Soros hates humanity. Musk (Elon Musk) has also compared Soros to Star Wars villain Darth Sidious in a post on Twitter.
He (Elon Musk) wrote, ‘George Soros is looking very good here. The lighting must have been good. Republican leaders have also condemned the honor given to Soros. Nikki Haley has called it a slap in the face of America. Citing Biden’s past decisions, he accused him of prioritizing political agenda rather than national values.
Donald Trump Jr. shared a video on social media, in which a pizza delivery man saved five children from a burning house. “This man deserves the Presidential Medal of Freedom, not Soros,” he wrote. Soros is one of the 19 people who have been awarded the Medal of Freedom.
