The German football club Schalke 04 attacked the “X” social media platform, for not taking any action regarding the racist abuse suffered by the club’s football director, Ben Manga.
The club, which plays in the German second division, said: “Racism and any kind of discrimination have no place at Schalke, but it seems so at X.”
Schalke explained that one of the platform’s users racially insulted Manga in several posts they reported, but confirmed that “X” responded that none of those posts violated its rules.
The German club added in its post: “It is unfortunate. Are you really serious?”
