This decision comes after spending almost a week hospitalized and canceling his presentation in Surco. Despite his delicate state of health, the artist made an unexpected appearance at the gala of the Latin Grammys 2024 surprising his followers.
In a recent message published on his Instagram account on November 21, Gian Marco detailed his state of health, explaining that, although he feels better, he will have to undergo a medical procedure in the coming days.

Gian Marco explained that the treatment he will follow includes infiltration of his spine and later physiotherapy. Currently, the singer needs a cane and a belt to walk, which shows the seriousness of his situation. “Next week they are going to infiltrate my spine, then comes physical therapy… And I will be like this for a long time. I miss the stage, you… Anyway… all that,” mentioned the artist, who still uses a cane and a sash to walk.

The singer-songwriter thanked the expressions of affection and support he has received from his fans, friends and close people during these difficult days, highlighting the importance of feeling supported in difficult times. “I love you and I miss you… I know everything is going to be fine. Gian Marco who had recently announced a temporary retirement from the stage for health reasons, showed his gratitude by performing on stage. Grateful, with a cane and everything, here we go!”
