Gina Lollo Brigida was born in 1927 in Subiaco, Italy. He went to Rome at the age of 20. She participated in many modeling contests and earned her recognition. But unexpectedly she stepped into the film industry. After the Second World War, Gina Lollo started her career as an actress and rose step by step. She acted in sixty films with the likes of Frank Sinatra, Marcello Mastroianni and Humphrey Bogard. Hollywood films like Bread, Love and Dreams brought her a lot of recognition. She entered politics in 1960. But she did not do well in politics.
Known as the princess of many dreams, Gina Lollo Brigida has many lovers in her life. Before the age of twenty, she married a Slovenian doctor, Milko Sofisk. A son was also born to them. But later they got separated. Also in 2006, at the age of 79, Brigida announced her intention to marry her Spanish business partner Javier Rigau Rafols, who was 34 years her junior, but they separated a year later. She accused him of tricking her into signing documents allowing her to marry a stand-in by proxy at a civil ceremony in Spain in 2013. In 2019, the court annulled their marriage.
