Wednesday night there is a TV show Help earthquake victims on NPO 1, a collaboration between NPO, RTL and Talpa, after which the provisional final score becomes clear. She shows reports by Johnny de Mol and interacts with Hila Noorzai, Wendy van Dijk and Herman van der Zandt who report in Sound and Vision. The last fifteen minutes will also be shown on RTL 4 and SBS.
Artists perform in the TV show and Eva Jinek and Jeroen Pauw receive guests at the table in the studio. There is also a link with the action center in the Hilversum Sound and Vision museum, where celebrities such as Sander Hoogendoorn, Frank van der Lende and Chazia Mourali take calls from callers who want to donate to Giro555.
Last Monday, the border area of Syria and Turkey was hit by strong earthquakes. Tens of thousands of fatalities have now been counted. Hundreds of thousands of people are in urgent need of help.
