Batting first, Pakistan reached 280/9 thanks to a 101-run century from left-hander Faqar Zaman, who returned to Pakistan after a long break, and Rizwan’s contribution of 77 runs. Devon Conway (52) and Kane Williamson (53) scored half-centuries in the New Zealand team to lay the foundation. Glenn Phillips scored 63 runs off 42 balls with 4 fours and 4 sixes and won the series with a huge victory of 281/8.
