Gloria Trevi And Sergio Andrade Were Sued Again For Corruption Of Minors

After 20 years of being acquitted by a Brazilian judge, the singer Gloria Trevi and his ex-partner and producer Sergio Andrade have once again received charges against the crime of corruption of minors. What did the plaintiffs say?

According to the information obtained, there are two female plaintiffs who identify themselves as Jane Does, to safeguard their identities, who allege that, when they were 13 and 15 years old, the Mexican singer approached them to offer them to belong to a musical training program led by Andrade. Said TV magazine was supposedly used as a front for the network of young people who suffered abuse from the producer Sergio Andrade.

Similarly, the new complaint states: “(Trevi and Andrade) used their role, status and power as a well-known and successful Mexican pop star and famous producer to gain access, groom, manipulate and exploit (the victims) and force sexual contact with them over a course of years”.

In the middle of the first decade of this century, he exploded a series of accusations against Gloria Trevi and Sergio Andrade for recruitment and sexual abuse of minors.

Thus, in June 1999, the Chihuahua Attorney’s Office ordered the capture of the two defendants.
