Gold Miners Shocked; A 30,000-year-old Baby Mammoth Was Found In The Mud

Many different and interesting pictures and videos go viral on social media every day. The image of the 30,000 year old body of the baby mammoth is now going viral on social media. The mammoth’s body was found in a gold mine in the Permafrost region of northeastern Canada. Surprisingly, after all these years, nothing has happened to the mammoth’s skin and hair.

The female mammoth has been identified as the baby’s body. According to the Yukon government, the baby girl was nicknamed “Nan Cho Ga” in the Han language by Trondak Hwitch. In the Han language spoken in the area it means big baby animal. While operating the bulldozer in the mine, the workers noticed that the machine was blocking something in the mud. The mammoth was found during a subsequent inspection.

It is thought to have been frozen in winter 30,000 years ago. According to experts, this mammoth may have lived in the Yukon with wild horses and cave lions when the woolly mammoth was alive. Professor Dan Sugar shared pictures of the discovery on Twitter. Nun Choga is one of the most beautiful permafrost mummies ever found, says Grant Sasula, a Yukon fossil expert.
