Union Aid Minister Dr Jitendra Singh said that they were launching the Face Recognition Technology, which was brought to submit the Life Certificate, and that the technology was historic. He said the decision would benefit not only 68 lakh central government pensioners but also the Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) and state pensioners.

The minister said the facility would be very useful for senior citizen pensioners who are unable to submit their fingerprints due to various reasons and can submit a digital life certificate through the Face Recognition Service based on the UIDAI Aadhaar software. The Digital Life Certificate is currently stored online. It can only be accessed by the pensioner and the pension agency.
What is required for Face ID ..?
For Face ID, pensioners need to have an Android smart phone, an internet connection to that phone, and an Aadhaar number registered with the pension agency. Camera resolution should also be 5 megapixels or more.
Life certificate can be submitted through this mobile app.
Go to the Google Store and download the Aadhaar Face ID app. After downloading the Face application, go to https://jeevanpramaan.gov.in/. The necessary authorization should be given. After completing the Operator Authentication, the Operators Face should be scanned. Pensioners are also operators here. The device is now ready to submit the Digital Life Certificate. Then the pensioners have to give their authentication. Pensioners must fill in the details. The live photo of the pensioner should be scanned.
