Good news for the devotees of Thirumala Srivari: If you miss the darshan again .. Special arrangements!

TTD has given good news to the devotees who could not visit Thirumala Srivenkateswara Swamy for any reason from November 18 to 30 due to heavy rains in Chittoor district. The Tirumala Tirupati Temple (TTD) has decided to offer darshan to devotees who cannot visit Srivastava at another time. The TTD’s decision comes on the heels of warnings from Meteorological Department officials that heavy rains are likely again from November 25 to 28.

Chairman YV Subbareddy directed TTD Evo Jawahar Reddy to take steps to this end. Authorities are planning to re-book the slot within the next 6 months by developing software specifically for devotees who already have darshan tickets. TTD Additional Evo Dharmareddy on Monday issued a statement to this effect.

“Despite heavy rainfall in Thirumala, no major damage was reported except in one or two places. Devotees can come fearlessly and see the Lord. The Alipiri walkway is nice. We have taken all measures to prevent any trouble to the devotees. Four culverts were damaged on the way to Srivastava. The culverts were damaged when the boulders came hard and hit as the rain water came in beyond capacity.

We are making temporary arrangements so that the devotees can walk. Until then this route will be closed. There are no problems at Annadanam, Kalyanakatta, Srivari Temple, Vaikuntham Queue Complex. Devotees can visit the Swami without any hesitation, ”the TTD statement said.
