Officials said they expect more people to switch to the Google Pay service because money can be transferred without handing out payment cards or touching physical buttons. The Central Bank of Kuwait approved Google Pay after ensuring security in all areas to ensure that online information is protected. Google Pay does not share actual credit and debit card numbers with businesses as transactions are done using a virtual card number. Therefore, the payment information will remain safe, officials said. Customers can store their cards in Google Wallet, a digital wallet that securely stores payment cards, loyalty cards, boarding passes and more.
