Google has launched its first smartwatch Pixel Watch in 2022. But the first Pixel Watch was not launched in India. Now this famous company has brought out Pixel Watch 2 which has been launched in India. This marks it as the first Google smartwatch to be launched in India. Pixel Watch 2 is only available in Wi-Fi variant. It is priced at Rs 39,999.
The Pixel Watch 2 runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 chipset and has 2GB of RAM. There is no external difference between the first Pixel Watch model and the newly launched Pixel Watch 2. The new watch is also similar to last year’s model in terms of exterior design. However, some minor changes can also be seen in this watch. This smartwatch features a highly durable cover glass and 100 percent recyclable aluminum.
The smartwatch comes in polished silver, matte black and champagne gold aluminum cases. Also, like the previous generation watch, the Pixel Watch also has the same size of just 41mm. The Pixel smartwatch has a 1.2-inch OLED display with a resolution of 384 x 384px. The watch is rated 5ATM/IP68, which means it is dust and waterproof. So users can swim with this watch.
Moreover, this smartwatch has multiple sensors like compass, altimeter, 3-axis accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, barometer and magnetometer. Along with this, this watch has many other health monitoring features like oxygen saturation (SpO2) monitor, ECG monitor, multi-path optical heart rate sensor.
The Pixel Watch 2 offers better battery life than the previous model. Google claims that it offers 24 hours of battery life with always-on display on a single charge.
