San Francisco| Google is releasing ‘Backup by Google One’ as an update on the existing Android backup service. For this the user only needs to know about One Cloud Syncing.
Android backup currently contains app data, SMS messages, call history, contacts and device priority – including Wi-Fi network and password, wallpaper, display settings (brightness and sleep), language and input settings, and date/time.
According to the report of 9to5Google, Google One will now pay more money due to the fact that Backup is more comprehensive and comprehensive as well as integrated.
That is, it can now back up photos, videos and MMS messages with Manage and Control directly in Android settings, in addition to the existing Google One app or website.
With this change, MMS is now part of the Android backup experience by default.
Last year, the company started allowing anyone to back up MMS, but it required installing and using the Google One app.
This integrated approach is meant to address any gaps in backup, the report said.
The service has rolled out to devices running Android 8.0 and will be fully available in the coming weeks.
The company said that it will provide more details when it is launched widely.
