‘I am very happy to be in Boddulurivaripalem, where I was born, on this Ugadi day. Whenever I visit my hometown, I used to think that it would be nice to have a good bus shelter. All my friends contributed to it. This is just a small contribution I have made to my village. There are many things to do in this town. Together with my friends, we will go to our hometown doing what we want one by one,’ revealed Gopichand.

Gopichand, who said that he has a spiritual connection with Boddulurivaripalem, said that everyone in this village is his relative and he knows everyone’s name here. No matter how much success I have given as a director, if I come to Boddulurivaripalem for a day or two, I will not find such happiness anywhere else. No matter how many functions or parties we have, it is very refreshing to come to this town and be among all my people. After every film I come here and stay for four or five days. I studied at Ulisi Sarada Niketan next door. A lot has changed in our village since then. Sarpanch Kavitha will have my support for whatever the village wants, Gopichand said.
Talking about his upcoming movies, he said that the story of his new movie is ready and he will announce it in 15 days. He said that he is going to make a movie again under the banner of Mythri Movies, which made the movie ‘Veerasimha Reddy’. He said that he is going to make a film with commercial elements added to a locally known incident.
