New Delhi: Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Mallikarjuna Kharge has questioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s promise to create 2 crore jobs per year.
Mallikarjuna Kharge spoke today (Wednesday) on the resolution of thanks to the President’s speech: “Prime Minister Modi had promised to create 2 crore jobs every year. 18 crore jobs should have been created in the last 9 years. Where are those 18 crore jobs? Leave that alone. 30 lakh vacancies in government departments are still unfilled. When will you fill this?
The government has invested Rs.82 thousand crores in private companies. 10 lakh people work in public sector organizations in our country. But the central government does not invest in public sector companies but invests in certain private companies like Adani. But only 30,000 people work in private establishments. People of the country have to pay a heavy price for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s schemes.
According to a report published by Oxfam, 62 percent of the country’s resources are controlled by 5 percent of the country’s population. The poor have only 3-4 percent of the country’s resources. It was never mentioned in the President’s speech,” said Mallikarju Kharge.
