Jhansi. The Yogi government has taken major action in the case of death of 10 children in the fire at Maharani Lakshmibai Medical College in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh (Jhansi Hospital Tragedy). On the basis of the investigation report of the four-member committee formed on the instructions of Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak, the principal of the college has been removed. He has been attached to Lucknow.
Along with this, the Chief Medical Superintendent of the college has been chargesheeted and three others have been suspended. Principal Dr. Narendra Singh Sengar has been attached. Whereas HoD of Child Department, Junior Engineer, Nursing Sister Incharge of NICU have been suspended. Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak said that the government is very sensitive about the heart-wrenching incident that took place in Jhansi Medical College.
All possible help has been provided to the affected families. Giving information, he said that an inquiry committee was formed in this regard. On the basis of the investigation report, the principal of the college, Dr. Narendra Singh Sengar, has been removed from the post. He is attached to the Directorate General of Medical Education Department.
Let us tell you that on November 15, ten children died in a fire in the NICU ward of Maharani Lakshmibai Medical College, Jhansi.
