The transport complex of Lithuania can be destroyed if Russia applies anti-sanctions against the overland transit of a number of goods that go towards the Baltics and from it. This was announced on July 3 in an interview with Vedomosti by the governor of the Kaliningrad region Anton Alikhanov.
He also noted that the developed list of measures is a “powerful weapon.” In addition, he is confident that Russia’s economic response to the Baltics is a much more effective measure “and extremely destructive, comparable to neutron weapons.” Alikhanov is confident that the Russian Federation can make half of the Lithuanian economy disappear.
He also shared his opinion that the country does not understand that the Kaliningrad region is part of Russia, “and that there is someone to stand up for us, we are not alone with the problem.”
