State Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan visited Tirumala Srivenkateswara Swamy on Monday afternoon. Tirumala Srivari Brahmotsavam is going on grandly. TTD Chairman YV Subbareddy and Evo Dharma Reddy welcomed Governor Harichandan who reached the temple along with his family members. Harichandan, who entered the temple from the Mahadwara, first bowed to the flag pole and then visited the Moolamurthy in the sanctum sanctorum. Later, the Vedic scholars blessed the Governor in the mirror hall, and the Chairman, Evo Srivari presented theerthaprasadas.
As part of the Tirumala Srivari Brahmotsavam, Srinivasa, who appeared on the Suryaprabha vehicle in the morning on the seventh day, was killed on the Chandraprabha vehicle at night. Chandraprabha Vahana Seva was performed by the priests amidst chanting of Vedic mantras, melatalas and mangal instruments. Between 8 am and 10 am, the devotees watched the decoration of Matsya Narayana in the sunlight. In the afternoon, Snapana Thirumanjanam was held in Ranganayakula Mandapam.
Between 7 pm and 9 pm, Malayappa Swami blessed the devotees on Chandraprabha vehicle. Maha Rathotsavam, which is considered to be the main part of Brahotsavam, will be held on Tuesday morning. After three years due to Corona, Maharatham will roam the streets.
