Hyderabad: There is a difference of opinion between Telangana State Governor Tamilisai Soundarrajan and Chief Minister Chandrasekhara Rao. In this case, the budget session of the revenue year 2023-24 is going to start on Saturday.
As Governor Tamilisai did not sign the file, the state government filed an urgent petition in the High Court yesterday. But before accepting the plea, the court advised the lawyers of both sides to hold mutual talks keeping in mind the interest of the people.
Following this, the lawyers of both sides held talks. In the end, if the governor gives permission to present the budget, the formality of the governor’s speech first, then the resolution of thanks to the governor’s speech, etc., will definitely be followed, advocate Dushyant Dave said in writing.
After that it was agreed to give permission to the Governor to hold the budget meeting. Subsequently, the petition filed by the government was withdrawn.
