He is expected to resign this evening (June 22). Meanwhile .. his corona positive diagnosis has become a topic of discussion.

Official sources said Kovid victim CM Uddhav Thackeray was in isolation at his home. Congress leader Kamal Nath said he could not meet Uddhav Thackeray due to corona infection. Already Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari has revealed that he has contracted Kovid and has been admitted to hospital. Information that Eknath Shinde, who tried to meet him, suggested that the team should be contacted via video conference. In the wake of these developments, Goa Governor PS Sreedharan Pillai was given additional responsibilities as the Governor of Maharashtra.

CM Uddhav Thackeray’s resignation is in doubt due to corona infection. Although Kovid was infected, he set up a virtual cabinet meeting and met with cabinet colleagues. It is learned that Uddhav Thackeray will hold another virtual meeting with Shiv Sena leaders at 5 pm on Wednesday. A decision on the resignation is likely to be announced after that. Meanwhile, Uddhav’s son Aditya Thackeray’s deletion of the word ‘minister’ from his Twitter bio has become the talk of the town.
