The great national theater presented its Artistic programming 2025In an entertaining ceremony in which the national casts of the Ministry of Culture of Peru participated, commemorating the 60 years of creation of the National Choir, the 30th anniversary of the National Children’s Choir and the centenary of the birth of Nicomedes Santa Cruz.
As every year, the 2025 artistic programming of the Great National Theater It contemplates musical shows of high technological level, operas, classical and modern dance assemblies, folkloric productions and theatrical works that will delight the different audiences.
Considering the variety of artistic genres that are disseminated in our country, and understanding the particular qualities that identify each region, the Great National Theater will apply this year a diversity approach in its programming, highlighting the participation of the national casts: National cast orchestra From Peru, Bicentennial Youth National Symphony Orchestra, National Choir of Peru, National Children of Children, National Ballet of Peru and National Folkloric Ballet, as well as the presence of local figures and international stars.

In particular, this year three anniversaries will be celebrated in the first artistic and cultural scenario of the country: the centenary of the birth of Nicomedes Santa Cruz, the 60 years of the foundation of the National Choir of Peru, and the 30th anniversary of the creation of the national choir of children.

Stars of the world. In the international field, the GTN will host the prestigious opera festival Alejandro Granda and ideal stage for the famous “Lake of the Swans” of the classic Ballet of Moscow. From Spain and Argentina arrive the legendary groups “dangerous friendships” and “The taken”, adding the Latin American Illapu music sets of Chile, Kalamark and Andean sap of Bolivia, and famous salsales as the Puerto Rican singer -songwriter Tito Nieves.
