Amritsar. At 3:10 am on Tuesday, terrorists lobbed a grenade at the Islamabad police station. Immediately after the blast, police personnel closed the gates of the police station and became alert. Jeevan Fauji, close to foreign gangster Harpreet Singh alias Happy Pasiya, has taken responsibility for the attack. A post regarding this has also gone viral on the internet media.
Immediately after the blast, when people from the residential area in front of the police station came to inquire about the blast, the police personnel did not tell anything. However, due to the sound of the explosion, even the glass panes of the houses in front of the police station were shattered. At 9:30 am an army contingent also reached the spot for investigation. Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said that the matter is being investigated. CCTV cameras installed outside the police station are also being checked.
