The second ball was dotted by Rashid Khan. With that .. the equation changed to 8 off 4 balls. Tewatia hit the third ball towards midwicket at this stage and was run out for a second run. With that .. the pressure fell on Gujarat. Rashid Khan took a single off the fourth ball. Miller failed to score at least one run off the last two balls. Shams threw the fifth ball over the wide line. He threw the last ball in the form of a slow full toss. Miller could not imagine the ball .. at least could not even touch.
In fact, openers Wriddhiman Saha (6×4, 2×6 off 55:40 balls) and Shubhman Gill (6×4, 2×6 off 52:36 balls) gave the Gujarat Titans an unbeaten 178-run target. The duo put on 106 for the first wicket in 12.1 overs and fell back in the same over. Sai Sudarshan came back as a hit wicket at 138 for the team score .. Hardik Pandya at 156 ran out trying for a non-run. However, with the help of finishers David Miller (19 not out: 1×4, 1×6 off 14 balls), Rahul Tewatia (3: 4 off 3 balls) and Rashid Khan (1 not out), the Gujarat camp looked brave. But .. Bumrah came to bowl at the required stage of 20 off 12 balls and gave only 11 runs .. Daniel Shams did a miracle in the last over.
