The first Gulf Youth Games, hosted by the UAE, and in which all Gulf countries participate, will witness competitions in 24 individual and team sports in 18 sports facilities, distributed over five emirates, with the participation of 300 volunteers and 100 media professionals, as the Emirate of Abu Dhabi hosts football and swimming competitions. Judo, boxing, cycling (track competition), sailing, jiu-jitsu, and golf, while the Emirate of Dubai hosts volleyball, athletics, table tennis, e-sports, athletics for people of determination, and billiards.

The Emirate of Sharjah hosts handball, basketball (3×3), karate, chess, equestrian (show jumping), and bow and arrow competitions, while triathlon competitions are held in the Emirate of Ajman, while the Emirate of Fujairah will host fencing, badminton, and taekwondo competitions.
