At dawn today, February 16, Gustavo Martínez, ex-partner of the deceased businessman Ricardo Fort, lost his life. At approximately 4:20 am, residents of the Buenos Aires neighborhood heard a loud bang on the pavement, for which they called 911. Minutes later, an ambulance and police officers arrived at the scene, where they confirmed the death of 62-year-old Gustavo Martínez.
The investigation of the incident remained in the hands of the prosecutor Laura Belloqui of the National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor’s Office No. 59 who ordered the intervention of the Homicide Division of the Buenos Aires force.
It is worth mentioning that Martínez had the power of the minor children of Ricardo Fort, who was her ex-boyfriend and died in 2013. The minors were in the apartment at the time of their guardian’s death.
Felipe Fort, Ricardo’s son, revealed to the police that Gustavo had been depressive for days because on February 25 they were going to come of age.

According to police agents, no signs of violence or disorder were seen at the scene of the events and it was possible to observe that one of the balconies facing Sucre Street and Martínez’s room has the protective net cut off, therefore, they will continue to investigations of the case.
