New Delhi: Union Minister of Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnav has said that he has ordered an inquiry into the warning given by Apple that there is an attempt to hack into the iPhones of opposition MPs.
Funding on the iPhones of some Opposition MPs including Shiv Sena Uddhav Wing MP Priyanka Chaturvedi, Trinamool Congress MP Bimahua Moitra, Aam Aadmi Party MP Raghav Sadha, All India Majlis Party MP Owaisi, Congress MP Sasidharur And Apple has warned that some people with advanced devices are trying to break in. This warning was shared by the above leaders on the X site. They accused the Center of tapping the iPhones of opposition leaders.
Regarding this, Union Minister of Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnav said, “The Central Government is paying attention to this matter. The details of those working behind this will be known. We have already ordered an inquiry into this matter.
Warning for 150 countries: Apple’s warning is not limited to India. Apple issued this warning based on ratings to people in 150 countries around the world. It is clear from their e-mail that they do not have any relevant information,” he said.
Can also be false: Apple said, “Well-funded and well-equipped individuals occasionally engage in hacking into iPhones.” Information on the reason for such warning cannot be given. “Some alerts may be false, some may not be detected,” it said.
