Saudi: Air India and Air India Express will operate special services for Hajj pilgrims from Kozhikode, Kannur, Jaipur and Chennai to Saudi Arabia. In the first phase, services will be run from Jaipur and Chennai to Madinah and Jeddah. There are 46 flight services. In the second phase, the flights will operate from July 3 to August 2. 43 flights will be the second phase.
Flights from Kozhikode to Jeddah will depart from June 4 to 22. 44 services are conducted. 6,363 passengers will be going on the flights. Also there will be 13 flights from Kannur to Jeddah for 1,873 passengers.

The first group from India arrived in Saudi the other day. The group reached Medina. A group from Jaipur with 56 pilgrims reached Madinah. Under the Indian Hajj Mission, Jeddah Indian Consul General Mohammad Shahid Alam, officials and volunteers welcomed them with flowers, dates and sweets.
About 1,400 pilgrims arrived in Madinah on the next day in five flights. About 3,100 pilgrims arrived in Madinah last day through 50 Hajj flights from Lucknow, Delhi, Jaipur and Calcutta. Pilgrims go to Makkah only after completing their visit to Madinah.
