Hajj registration in Oman begins today; Registration is done online

Muscat: The Ministry of Waqf of Oman has announced that registration for the upcoming Hajj pilgrimage from Oman will take place from May 9 to 14. Registration can be done through the link www.hajj.om. Both natives and expatriates can apply. The official said that the applicant can register directly by giving his civil number, personal card or mobile number.

At the same time, Hajj pilgrims can only apply if they comply with the conditions set by the Saudi authorities. Only those between the ages of 18 and 65 can register for Hajj in case the Kovid threat persists. Doses of any Kovid vaccine approved by the Saudi government must be fully administered.

Women who register for Hajj cannot apply online on their own. Instead, they said, they could only register their marriage with a mahram, which is not allowed. The ministry also said that women can register only on the basis of the civil number on their personal card.
At the same time, the ministry said that private Hajj companies should not interfere in the Hajj registration process. The website is designed in such a way that pilgrims can register directly. The move is part of efforts to ensure transparency in the matter. The ministry also said that applicants will have the opportunity to choose the Hajj company of their choice at the time of registration.
