The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Halwani Brothers Egypt, Engineer Abdel Aziz Yamani, said that an agreement was signed between Halwani Brothers of Egypt with Aqwat Company, which owns the “Al-Baik” trademark, and this agreement aims to localize the “Al-Baik” brand in Egypt with investments amounting to one billion pounds within 3 years.
Yamani pointed out that the food industries sector faces many challenges, foremost of which is the high prices of raw materials.
He pointed out that increasing the cost to consumers is one of the challenges facing the food industry sector, adding: “We are trying to diversify the sources of raw materials to overcome the problems of shortage of supplies.”
