Hamas, which launched the attack against Israel with the excuse that they were going to take over the Al Aqsa mosque, has asked Palestinians living in Jewish territory to launch “lone wolf” attacks. Specifically, against Israeli military sites and settlements in the West Bank: “Oh, heroes of our people in the West Bank, to our people in Jerusalem, Ramallah and Nablus, our pride in Hebron and Jenin, and in all the towns and ruins: the time for a comprehensive and urgent mobilization to participate in the battle of the Al Aqsa flood and show Allah our goodness.”
The statement called on his supporters to engage in lone-wolf style attacks against Israeli targets, wherever they are: “Let everyone go, whether in groups or alone, towards the targets of the occupation and settlers everywhere. Storm settlements and military sites, eliminate enemy soldiers and settlers, and restore the rights of martyrs and holy places.”
For its part, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, through its spokesperson, Abu Hamza, assured that they were participating in the aggression and attacks underway inside Israel, with the aim of driving out the enemy. Today we are recording a new chapter of victory and breaking the prestige of the ‘enemy entity’. He claimed that initial reports of casualties and captives inside Israel demonstrated that the conflict with Israel could be won.
He also remembered the Palestinian fighters who had died in the fighting: “We salute the souls of the martyrs, the just fighters and with them the heroes of our people, and we pray for the recovery of the wounded, and that tomorrow will be near.”
