The number of candidates for the last session reached 409 male and female athletes, who together achieved 300 mathematical achievements, 29 mathematical innovations, 26 mathematical scientific productions, and 54 sports projects, initiatives and programs.
And he continued: «I expect that the number will increase in the new edition, which will open the doors to candidacy for the numbers of previous seasons, especially with the Arab sports achievements that have been achieved in the past period, and the explosion of athletes with the return of sports activity in its natural form after the Corona pandemic, and its safety repercussions».
The Board of Trustees of the Sports Creativity Award, headed by Mattar Al Tayer, decided in its meeting held last week to open the door for candidacy for the 12th edition of the award, in early April, and it will continue until August 31 of this year, as the period of achievements that qualify for competition to win has been determined for the period from 16 September 2021 to August 31, with the winners to be honored in January 2024.
