The day before yesterday, Hatta hosted the second session of the Dubai Rowing Challenge, where the challenge achieved remarkable success, surpassing the results of the previous session in light of the great turnout, strengthening its position as one of the distinguished events within the Dubai Fitness Challenge 2024.
The challenge hosted 2,330 experienced and new rowers, during which they enjoyed the rowing experience among the stunning mountain scenery, which represented a large participation, compared to the number of participants in the first session last year, which reached 1,000 participants, which made it one of the distinguished events in the Dubai Fitness Challenge.
The challenge, which was held under the auspices of the Roads and Transport Authority in Dubai, targeted all ages and abilities, from beginners to professionals, and included a program full of activities, most notably training sessions for adults and families under the supervision of certified trainers, group challenges, and free kayak paddling sessions for the first time. The challenge activities concluded with a peaceful yoga session at sunset over the water, allowing everyone to relax and enjoy the beauty of Hatta’s nature.
The Secretary-General of the Dubai Sports Council, Saeed Hareb, said: “This year’s Dubai Rowing Challenge not only met expectations, but exceeded them, which reflects Dubai’s commitment to establishing a culture of health and fitness.
