Ajay responded to the question whether the rapist characters have ever done it.. “Very little. My feeling is that raping is not right. The rape episode, it was very difficult to shoot. 80 percent of the roles I’ve played in my career have come from the set. First I don’t listen to the story and get to know the character. It is to go to the location that day and ask if it is a good character. Srihari gari movie.. Vijayan master director.. Rape scene.. Someone brought a girl. I was not told that it was a rape scene, neither was the girl. Said at the location itself. Vijayan Master told me to go and rape him. I said what is rape sir. She says don’t touch me as if that woman really came to rape me. They say he is the one. But I didn’t. That scene itself has been changed. After that, I have never done rapist characters,” revealed Ajay.
Ajay, who said that he did not have much trouble financially after coming to the industry, said that he faced ups and downs in terms of career. “Once you enter the industry, it is difficult to sustain it. Financial sustainability is a task in our hands. It depends on our discipline. Career related struggle is different. If acting fails, nothing else will come. I can’t do anything else. No desire to do business. I am not even the right person for that” said Ajay.
However, Ajay replied to the question that he was burnt out after doing some business.. “I started a computer graphics company. Otherwise, I quickly realized my mistake and recovered. Lucky for me I find out early. Don’t risk dragging too much. I lost Rs.30 lakhs in those days. In 2002 and 2003, it was Rs.30 lakhs more. CG Company was also put up for work in films. But, when the career in terms of acting was good, why did I leave again?” Ajay revealed.
