New Delhi. Congress MP and Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi fiercely attacked BJP during the discussion on the Constitution in Parliament today. Referring to Mahabharata, he narrated the story of Ekalavya and Dronacharya. Along with this, Rahul also mentioned Hathras and said that under BJP rule, rapists are roaming freely and the victims are living under the shadow of fear.
Rahul Gandhi said that even after saying that he would not become Eklavya’s guru, Dronacharya had got his thumb cut off in Gurudakshina to snatch away his talent. Similarly, today BJP is biting the thumb of the youth of India. He said that the BJP government has taken away employment from the youth by giving the Dharavi project to Adani in Maharashtra. He said that BJP has cut off the thumb of small workers by snatching away their rights.
While giving his views on the Constitution, Rahul Gandhi said that Savarkar had raised questions on our Constitution and said that there is nothing Indian in it. He said that Savarkar had said that the worst thing about the Constitution of India is that there is nothing Indian in it. Rahul Gandhi said that Savarkar wanted to change the Constitution with Manusmriti.
He asked whether BJP will now justify Savarkar’s point. Let us tell you that Prime Minister Modi can answer the ongoing debate on the Constitution in the Lok Sabha. A day before this, Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra had accused BJP of making the Constitution ‘Sangh Vidhan’, the rule book of the Sangh. Let us tell you that yesterday Defense Minister Rajnath Singh had started the discussion on the Constitution.
