Kolkata: Former Indian cricket team captain Sourav Ganguly hailed Dhoni as an all-time great and a true champion. He shared this at the Sports Star’s East Sports Conclave event held in Kolkata.
Dhoni is known as the best captain in the world of cricket. It is noteworthy that in 2004, he made his international debut in the Indian team led by Ganguly. Everything that happened after that is history. He is training hard for the upcoming 2023 IPL season.
“He is a true champion. From Ranchi, he emerged as one of the all-time greats of the Indian team. It is rare for people from his state to make it to the Indian team. He is the one who gave change to the players around him and instilled confidence in them,” Ganguly said.
Ganguly also talked about the changes that cricket is facing and the India-Australia series.
