According to the video captured by a security camera, The events occurred shortly after 7:20 p.m. in the Ciudad de Quito neighborhood. Jéferson Alexander and his 3-year-old daughter were crossing the street in front of a supermarket when the hitman approached them.
Witnesses at the scene revealed to local media that two subjects aboard a motorcycle remained parked in the area until they saw the man passing by with his daughter.
It was then that one of the subjects got off the motorcycle, approached Jéferson Alexander and shot him twice in the head. Once the man was on the floor, and even with the girl at close range, the attacker shot him one more time.
The criminal quickly got on the motorcycle and fled with his accomplice through the Nuevo Share sector, while those present in the area fled the crime scene due to the danger of being injured.
