A new military hospital was opened in Kazan. Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov and head of the government of Tatarstan Alexei Pesoshin attended the opening ceremony on Wednesday, September 7.
“During the construction of the hospital, unique construction technologies were used, as well as modern requirements for medicine were taken into account. The military hospital is equipped with advanced medical and diagnostic equipment that meets international standards, ”Zvezda TV channel quotes Gerasimov.
He noted the importance of the established hospital in expanding the possibilities of medical care in the republic.
“Certainly, the commissioning of such a hospital has expanded the range of services to provide high-tech medical care to military personnel, their families and residents of the Republic of Tatarstan,” he added.
Gerasimov thanked the military builders for the construction of the medical facility, writes Moscow 24.
The medical facility has a capacity of 150 beds. The hospital has modern medical equipment. It is built taking into account the possibility of providing emergency specialized medical care to the injured and sick in case of accidents, disasters and local military conflicts. Here they will be able to receive the wounded delivered by air transport, writes REGNUM.
The construction of the facility began in August 2021. The first stone was laid personally by the head of the country’s Ministry of Defense, Sergei Shoigu.
