Valencia, Jul 10 (EFE) and attention to health problems derived from high temperatures.
The State Meteorological Agency will activate this Monday from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. the yellow alert throughout the Community, with the sole exception of the Castellón coast and the interior south of Valencia due to highs of between 36 and 38 degrees and which, on time, could exceed 39 degrees.
Affected municipalities
The high level of the Program for the prevention and attention to health problems derived from high temperatures in the Valencian Community is established in the province of Alicante in Albatera, Algorfa, Almoradí, Benejúzar, Bigastro, Callosa de Segura, Catral, Daya Nueva, Granja Rocamora, Jacarilla, Orihuela, Pilar de la Horadada, Rafal, Redován, San Isidro and San Miguel de Salinas, in the Vega Baja region.
In Baix Vinalopó, the municipality of Crevillent; in Comtat, Alcocer de Planes, Alfafara, Almudaina, Balones, Benasau, Beniarrés, Benilloba, Benillup, Benimarfull, Cocentaina, Gaianes, Gorga, l’Alqueria d’Asnar, l’Orxa, Millena, Muro de Alcoy and Planes; and in L’Alcoià, Alcoy, Castalla, Onil and Tibi.
In L’Alt Vinalopó they are Beneixama, Biar, Camp de Mirra, Cañada, Salinas, Sax and Villena; in the Vinalopó Mitjà in Algueña, Pinoso, Elda, La Romana, Monòver, Petrer, Aspe and the Fondó de les Neus; in the Marina Alta, Castell de Castells and Vall de Gallinera; and in the Marina Baixa, Beniardá and Benimantell.
In the province of Valencia, the red level is observed in Ademuz, Casas Altas, Casas Bajas, Castielfabib and Torrebaja, in the Rincón de Ademuz region; and in Ayora, Cofrentes, Cortes de Pallás, Jalance, Jarafuel, Teresa de Cofrentes and Zarra, in the Cofrentes-Ayora Valley.
Also in the Font de la Figuera, in La Costera; in Camporrobles, Caudete de las Fuentes, Fuenterrobles, Requena, Sinarcas, Utiel, Venta del Moro and Villargordo del Cabriel, in the Plana de Utiel-Requena; in Benagéber, in Los Serranos; and in Agullent, Benigànim, Fontanars dels Alforins, Ontinyent and Quatretonda, in La Vall d’Albaida.
And in Castellón, in Zorita del Maestrazgo, in the Ports region.
Health has also established for this Monday, according to the Prevention Program, the medium level alert (orange) in municipalities of 27 counties, including the city of Valencia.
