Thiruvananthapuram: India joined the G-20 organization last Dec. Assumed charge on 1st. The G-20 Health Working Group meeting started yesterday in Thiruvananthapuram and continues till tomorrow. Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Bharti Praveen Pawar said:
The Corona pandemic will not be the end of the pandemic. So we should give high priority to emergency preparedness. To protect people from crises like Corona, the whole world needs to build a solid health infrastructure. A global health threat like this requires us to work together. With growing scientific evidence, we need to diversify our capabilities and strengthen precautionary measures.
In an interconnected world, we must ensure that people recover from crises and have equal opportunities for their safety. The Minister of State spoke thus.
