Hyderabad: Marini Nims Hospital has achieved another feat as a name given to rare treatments. Nims doctors have successfully completed the heart operation without inserting a knife. A 19-year-old girl suffering from congenital heart problems underwent surgery to repair a hole in her heart and repair a blood vessel valve using only the latest medical devices. Nims doctors gave a new life to the young woman by providing a better treatment with only Rs. 15 lakhs for this treatment which cost about Rs.50 lakhs. Jahnavi (19), daughter of B. Rambabu and Sujatha of Jayashankar Bhupalappalli, was suffering from heart problems since birth. At the age of three, he underwent open heart surgery in a corporate clinic. But, the small hole at the top of the heart was left.

Jahnavi, who was very healthy until the age of 14, grew older with the hole in her heart. The pulmonary valve, which supplies blood from the right side of the heart to the lungs, was also completely damaged. Seeing the young woman’s condition, the team of cardiology doctors Dr. Hemant, Dr. Archana, city surgeon Dr. Amaresh and anesthetist Dr. Nirmala, led by Dr. Saisatish, successfully completed this treatment within two and a half hours. The doctors revealed that the patient recovered fully within two days of the treatment.
