Siddiqui is currently residing in Faisalabad, Pakistan, among the brothers-in-law who were separated during the partition of the country. Recently, Habib went to Pakistan to visit the Gurdwara Sahib on the Kartarpur Corridor.
At this point the two brothers met and hugged deeply and shed tears of joy. They remembered their childhood memories and sweet memories. The video is currently going viral on social media. Speaking on the occasion, Habib lauded the construction of the Kartarpur Corridor. He said it helped him meet his brother. He expressed happiness that it would be very helpful for the families who were separated during the partition to get back together. He said he would meet his brother through this corridor.
The two brothers thanked the Governments of Pakistan and India for opening the Kartarpur Corridor to allow visa-free travel from India to Pakistan. The total length of the corridor is 4.7 km and one can visit the Gurdwara Darbar Sahib in Pakistan. It was launched in 2019 by Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan. However, the corridor, which had been closed for a year and a half due to corona outbreaks, was reopened on November 17 last year.
