Sitapur, The case of murder of 6 people in Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh shocked everyone today. Here a person, after murdering 5 members of his own family, committed suicide. Police said that the accused is mentally disturbed. According to the information, he shot the mother, hit the wife with a hammer and threw the children from the terrace.
The 45-year-old accused, after killing his mother, wife and three children at home, ended his life by shooting himself. Giving information about the incident, SSP Sitapur Chakresh Mishra said that this incident happened in village Palhapur of Rampur Mathura police station. According to the information received by the police, the accused 45 year old Anurag Singh is said to be mentally disturbed. He murdered his mother, wife, son and 2 daughters with a gun and a hammer. After this he also shot himself.
The incident site has been sealed. Police and forensic team are investigating on the spot. Among the deceased, accused Anurag is 45 years old. Apart from this, mother Savitri Devi is said to be 65 years old, wife 40 years old and children’s age is said to be 6 years, 9 years and 12 years respectively.
Everyone is shocked and horrified by the murder that took place in the dark of night in Palhapur village of Rampur Mathura in Sitapur district. Two shells of 315 bore have been recovered at the spot. But no weapon has been found. Non-receipt of weapons is also raising some doubts. According to the villagers, Anurag was addicted to alcohol.
