Where are the hills of sin ..
Papikondalu is located between the West Godavari and East Godavari districts of the state of Andhra Pradesh. Before the formation of the state of Telangana, West Godavari, East Godavari and Khammam districts. About 60 km from the city of Rajahmundry in Andhra Pradesh, about 60 km from the town of Bhadrachalam in Telangana and 410 km from the capital city of Hyderabad in Telangana, Papikondala is a national park and is popularly known as Andhra Kashmir due to its hills, waterfalls and rural climate. There is a waterfall near the Munivatam site at Bhadrachalam. The Shivalingam serpent that resides here is magnificent in the shade.
At Papikonda, the Godavari flows between two hills in a very narrow width. The launch journey from Rajahmundry to Papikonda is a good experience for the tourists. The Papikondala excursion starts from Pattisam Island in West Godavari district. It stretches from Pattisam Island to Polavaram, Gondur, Sirivaka, Kollur and Perantalapally.
