After the WhatsApp instant messaging application announced that it is possible to receive and send messages without the need for a primary smartphone connection to the Internet when the account is linked to a second device such as a computer.
This “Linked Devices” feature provides a new solution to one of the prominent WhatsApp restrictions, which prevents users from opening their accounts on another device and continuing to use the service while the smartphone with which the account is registered with remains connected to the Internet, so that they can have any conversation on the devices linked to the primary device.
The method of work
The way to work is very simple, as you can click on the “Linked Devices” option from the WhatsApp settings menu.
Once you click on the associated devices option from the WhatsApp settings menu, you will be able to see a new page called “Use WhatsApp on other devices”, click on it and then connect your phone to any other computer, as it will allow you to stay using your account on up to 4 other devices Without the need for your phone to be connected to the Internet, similar to its strongest competitor Telegram, which can use the account via the web version without a connected phone.
“Linked devices” will continue to receive and send messages for up to 14 days after the main smartphone connection is interrupted, and you do not need to keep your phone connected to the Internet to use WhatsApp on the linked devices, and the user will also have to register his account on WhatsApp and link it to the new devices on his phone.
