ThAn open meeting led by the BJP (BJP Telangana) in Rangal got relief in the High Court. The court gave permission to hold the meeting. The BJP is making arrangements to hold a public meeting in Hanmakonda on the occasion of the conclusion of the third phase of Praja Sangrama Padayatra by BJP Telangana President Bandi Sanjay. BJP national president JP Nadda will be the chief guest at this meeting which will be held on the evening of 27th at the grounds of Arts College. It is known that the Principal of Arts College wrote a letter yesterday saying that while the arrangements are being made for the holding of the meeting, the permission of the police is not being granted to the meeting. The BJP leaders approached the state high court. The High Court heard the petition and granted conditional permission to the assembly. The High Court ordered the leaders not to make provocative speeches in the assembly and to give assurances to that extent.
On the other hand, Warangal Police Commissioner Tarun Joshi has issued orders banning public gatherings, meetings and rallies within Warangal Police Commissionerate. He said that these orders will be in force from August 26 to 31 till 6 am. The order states that legal action will be taken against those who violate the rules. CP revealed that this decision was taken with the intention of maintaining law and order. However, in the wake of the High Court’s order, a mandatory situation has arisen where the Warangal Police has to give permission for the holding of the BJP’s public meeting.
